Serious Side Effects (Seek Medical Attention if You Experience These)

Thyroid Tumors – Report any neck lumps, swelling, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, or shortness of breath.

Severe Gastrointestinal Issues – May cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, or stomach pain. Not recommended for those with severe GI conditions.

Pancreatitis – Watch for severe stomach pain that may radiate to the back, with or without vomiting.

Gallbladder Disease – Symptoms include severe stomach pain, yellowing of skin/eyes, fever, or pale stools.

Kidney Problems – Dehydration from vomiting or diarrhea can lead to kidney injury. Stay hydrated.

Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia) – More common if combined with diabetes medications. Symptoms include dizziness, sweating, shaking, fast heartbeat, or confusion.

Diabetic Retinopathy – Can worsen in those with a history of diabetic eye disease. Report vision changes.

Suicidal Thoughts or Mood Changes – Monitor for new or worsening depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts.

Severe Allergic Reactions – Stop use and seek help if you experience facial swelling, trouble breathing, rash, rapid heartbeat, or dizziness.
